How to check any cash home buyer

Whoever you sell to, these are the questions worth asking. We are happy to answer every one of them.

Can you show proof of funds?A real buyer can show a bank letter or statement before you sign.
Who handles the closing?It should be a licensed title company or closing attorney, never the buyer alone.
Are there any fees for me?You should never pay an application, inspection or “processing” fee.
Will the price change later?Ask whether the written offer can drop after an inspection, and why.
Are you buying it, or assigning the contract?Some buyers sell your contract to someone else. You have a right to know.
Can I talk to past sellers?A local buyer with nothing to hide can point you to people they have helped.
